What Is Yamuna Body Rolling?
Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) is a completely original fitness and therapy practice that combines healing, wellness, in injury prevention in a single, simple workout. YBR heals body problems at the same time that it helps you get in shape. YBR offers all these benefits:

Body Rolling grew out of a therapy system called Yamuna Body Logic (YBL), a hands-on technique that Yamuna Zake created over 20 years ago. In treating people with Body Logic, she exerted traction on muscle by using one elbow to apply pressure at the point where a muscle began and the other hand to pull the muscle in the direction of its natural movement, toward its insertion. Once it was elongated the muscle could take its full length, decompressing bones, joints, and nerves and restoring full function.
After practicing Body Logic and training other practitioners to do it for several years, she invented a new way in which a ball could act as a practitioner's hands, and proceeded to translate Body Logic on to the ball.
The result was YBR, which consists of a series of routines that use a six to ten inch reinflatable ball to stretch the muscles, freeing restrictions in all parts of the body, increasing blood flow, and promoting healing. YBR empowers people to tone, strengthen, and realign their own bodies and to prevent and fix all sorts of body problems.
