<!--[if gte mso 10]>
DRESS CODE/CLASS ATTIRE Dance is a disciplined art form and must be respected as such. In order to teach effectively, see proper body alignment, and make necessary corrections, the dancer must be dressed properly. Also, hair must be secured out of the face in a bun, braid, etc. We prefer that you purchase your dance shoes through T’Dance so that the students are sized properly and we carry high quality dance shoes at very reasonable prices.
BALLET: Solid color leotards, pink tights ONLY, pink ballet shoes. Skirts are optional. Please DO NOT purchase ballet shoes at Wal-Mart or Payless, as these shoes are not made of leather and do not bend when the student tries to point their feet Hair is preferably in a bun.
TAP: Leotards, tights or jazz pants (must be hemmed to top of tap shoes), black tap shoes. All students age 3-7 must replace the ribbon ties with elastic so that the students may slip the shoes on and off. (Thank you!)
JAZZ: Black jazz shoes – NO DANCE SNEAKERS!! Leotard and tights or jazz pants. (Pants must be hemmed and not hanging under the shoes or feet!)
LYRICAL: same as jazz classes
MODERN: Leotard and Capri pants, footless or convertible tights. Bare feet.
CLOGGING: White clogging shoes, dancewear or top and shorts .
HIP HOP: Jazz shoes or dance sneakers, leotards, jazz pants. (Dance sneakers are optional – not required.) If you choose to wear any kind of sneakers for class they may not be worn outside or they will not be approved for use in class!

POM DANCE: leotard and tights, may wear jazz pants, jazz shoes
NO SWEATS, T SHIRTS, BAGGY CLOTHES OR STREET CLOTHES ARE ALLOWED FOR ANY CLASS. DO NOT WEAR EXTRA CLOTHING OVER YOUR DANCE ATTIRE – THIS DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF BEING DRESSED PROPERLY. EXTRA CAMISOLE TOPS, SHORTS, ETC WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR ANY CLASS. ALSO, NO BARE MIDRIFFS OR EXPOSED STOMACHS WILL BE ALLOWED. You may not be allowed to dance if you are not dressed appropriately. Please label all of your belongings, bags and shoes with student’s name. No street shoes are to be worn for any class. Also, do not wear your dance shoes outside. Tap shoes should not be worn on concrete.
Dancewear, shoes, bags, etc. are available for purchase through the studio. We prefer that you purchase shoes through the studio so that all students are in the same shoes for performances. If you purchase them somewhere else, you will need to have them approved by the instructor before wearing them for class.
